Dr. Asad Khan, M.D.
is a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist with expertise in managing complex arrhythmias and advanced cardiac procedures. He specializes in catheter ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, and the use of cutting-edge technology for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, SVTs, and ventricular tachycardia. Dr. Khan is particularly skilled in performing pulmonary vein isolation using both radio frequency and pulse field ablation, as well as neuromodulation techniques for syncope and bradyarrhythmias. His commitment to staying at the forefront of electrophysiology is reflected in his ongoing research in the fields of ventricular arrhythmias, cardioneuroablation, and addressing disparities in cardiovascular care. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and presented his findings at national conferences.
Dr. Khan completed his fellowship training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Disease at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He previously completed his Internal Medicine residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he was recognized for his clinical excellence. His medical education began at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and received numerous accolades for his academic achievements.
Dr. Khan is triple board certified and he is an active member of professional organizations, including the Heart Rhythm Society, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Khan enjoys exploring Chicago’s diverse restaurant scene, traveling with his family, and cheering for his hometown Buffalo Bills.
