PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
- Integrate the latest medical treatment options in patients
with CHF
- Apply the new hypertension treatment guidelines from JNC VII
- Define the indications for defibrillator and biventricular
pacemaker implantation in patients with cardiomyopathy
- Develop a systematic approach to the workup of patients with
cryptogenic stroke
- Describe the role of the RESTORE and MAZE procedures in
patients undergoing CABG
